Structural Poem

Smell of Earth
Soft petals of pink
Rested beside her
gravestone

Lilies gung above
Did she know I was here?
Did she miss me
too?

Traced my fingers
along her name
Instantly knew people
commanded their names for
eternity

Hundreds of stones stood
in front of me
Casting exaggerated
shadows

Children's graves against
the orange skyline of the setting
sun
Thanks for taking your time and reading my blog.
Have a nice day
