Conflicts

Conflicts? Can our daily lives
change?
or stay the same?
Can it change relationships
between family and friends?
Conflicts!!! without them our life is
a waste. It isn't exciting
or wonderful. It s just boring and lonesome.
We face conflicts
on a daily basis, they can be about family
or friends and much
more. I learned that conflicts can change
our lives and we can
learn from them. Over the years I learned to
have patience,
be productive, and responsible.

My Name

In Latin my name means "Pearl" In Indian it means a "cloud and a star" In English it is related to the name "Margaret" It is like the number 3 and 27 because they are my lucky numbers and it was the day I was born. The 27th of January. It is like the color orange starting the day with joy and ending the day with memories.

I wasn't named after anyone or a place. My parents thought if we have a baby girl we would name it "Meghana" The next year a baby girl was born, which turned out to be me. Like a wish that was trying to come true after many years. Just Waiting.......... To come True.........

At school people say my name in many different ways. That it is hard to keep in track. My science teacher says it "Kakarla" or "Meghana!". It sounds like he is screaming at me. Like I did something terribly wrong. My social studies teacher says it like"Meghanaaaaaa" like he is upset and annoyed to see me in his classroom. In class when people don't get my name they say it "Madonna" the famous singer. It technically bugs me!!!!! My parents say it Me-gha-na same way but pronounced differently. Which is calm and nice as everyone says it.

I don't think I'am going to baptize myself under a new name because my name suites me well enough. Maybe I should baptize myself. Maybe....... Just Maybe........ or I will keep it as it is, but it has a real long way to go.

Thanks for taking your time and reading my blog. Have a great day.

Dorton the Crook wouldn't Share

Dorton Vu wouldn't share
No matter how many times anyone
ever told him

He would stay stubborn like
a pig
Never played with his friends and never
shared his things

Always said
"Sharing is Boring"
He wouldn't share his wonderful
toys

Talking Car
Pug Doll
Video Game

He never played with his
toys
He would just sit and stare

Hi friends would come and say
"Can I borrow your talking
Bear?"

He would say
"What is this?"
"These are mine!"
"Go and find the garbage
slime!"

All his friends would
glare and stare
trying to play with his
toys from here and
there

His friends would say
they will report a
crime

They would cry but he
wouldn't share
he just sat and
glared

Structural Poem

Smell of Earth
Soft petals of pink
Rested beside her
gravestone

Lilies gung above
Did she know I was here?
Did she miss me
too?

Traced my fingers
along her name
Instantly knew people
commanded their names for
eternity

Hundreds of stones stood
in front of me
Casting exaggerated
shadows

Children's graves against
the orange skyline of the setting
sun

I'am a Tennis Player

Iam a Tennis Player

I wonder if I can be a star

I hear the crowd cheering for me to

come on

I see my fans trying to cheer me up

I want to know what my place will be

at the finals

I pretend I'am the ball soaring back and forth

I feel the energy as I hit the ball with my

racket

I touch my sweat as I wipe my forehead

I laugh when I win the trophy

I cry when I lose the game

I say have concentration and fun

while playing the game

I ask if I can be a pro

I understand that someday I

will become a star

I try to play so I could win

I'am a Tennis Player

An Ants Eye View of Picnic

As I was walking out of my aunt hole, something caught my nose. The smell of Chicken, Cake, Sweets and much more. I struggle to get to the picnic table wihout being stomped at. When I finally reach the table everything was huge. and I thought how I was going to eat all that at once. The choclate covered strawberries and the frying of chicken made me melt into pieces. Just when I called my friends to carry the food, so we could have food for the winter. A mean old lady saw me and she scremaed like a baby. She started chopping everthing into pieces. What's wrong with her I thought!!!!!!!!!!! She chopped my favorite cookies. I never knew it would be this easy to get food I thought. Maybe I can try this again.

A Day at the Beach

Shimmering golden sunrays falling

down at the sky

Sand is a warm velvet blanket

drapped over the

beach

Palm trees as tall as giants reaching

the skies limit

Calm Clean Crysrtal Clear

Water

Little Kids laugh and play cheerfully

along the shore

Faint calming music in the

background
